Welcome, T.E.A.M. Client Companies! > Utilization Reports

T.E.A.M. provides EAP utilization reports (UR) to all of our client
companies that contract for standard EAP services. These reports
inform you about your employees’ use of the EAP, while at
the same time maintaining all clients’ confidentiality—no
client names are listed on your utilization report. Most companies
receive URs on a quarterly basis; however, some small companies
may only receive reports on a semi-annual basis to eliminate significant
reporting period variances and ensure confidentiality in small
populations.
Your UR will provide you with the following information regarding
the utilization for the defined reporting period:
- Number of people (both employees and family members) who used
the EAP, and what percentage of your workforce this number represents
- Number of contacts (distinct incidents of service) provided
to those who used the EAP
- Number and percentage of individuals who resolved their concerns
within the EAP without
accessing their health care insurance benefits
- Number of management consultations provided to managers, supervisors
and human resource staff
- Number and types of orientations and training conducted at
your company’s locations
Additionally, T.E.A.M. describes demographic information on your
utilization report. The demographics, presented in percentage format,
typically include:
- Types of concerns for which clients accessed the EAP
- Types of management consultation issues
- Referral source
- Gender
- Age distribution
- Employee or family member status
- For your company’s employees:
Job type (hourly, salaried, supervisory)
Length of service
In reporting demographic information to you, if at any time this
data could reveal an individual client’s identity, we will
restrict the amount of demographic data we provide. For example,
if your company employs only five women, and your UR reveals that
all clients who used the EAP that quarter were women who are company
employees, we would remove the gender statistic from the UR to
protect the female employees’ identities. In that way no
one reviewing the UR could determine whether the employee clients
were male or female. Client confidentiality is one of T.E.A.M.’s
most important principles, a value that is not compromised at any
cost; so much so that we delete information from your UR, rather
than risk identifying an EAP client.
We encourage you to meet with your Account Manager face-to-face
to review your company’s EAP utilization, brainstorm ways to
increase employees’ access of the program, and discuss any other needs
with which T.E.A.M. can help you. Your busy schedule may at times
preclude in-person meetings, in which case we are happy to e-mail
or mail your UR to you and answer any questions by phone. |
