Affiliate Providers that partner with T.E.A.M. must meet an extensive
list of criteria. T.E.A.M.'s Affiliate Services staff conducts phone
interviews and reviews written applications to select the best possible
team to service our clients. To be an approved Affiliate Provider,
a clinician must:
- Have at least a Masters degree in a Human Service or Behavioral
Science field.
- Have a minimum of three years post-masters experience.
- Be state licensed or certified in the state in which he or she
works.
- Have experience in short-term counseling.
- Be willing to work with the T.E.A.M. solution-focused counseling
model.
- Be versed in the application of multiple modalities, e.g., individual
and family therapy.
- Have advanced skills and training in the provision of mental
health and substance abuse services.
- Be able to serve diverse populations.
- Have training or experience in Critical Incident Stress Management
and a willingness to go onsite at employers' work sites to provide
such support.
- Be able to offer clients routine appointments within three business
days and emergent appointments within 24 hours.
- Offer evening or Saturday appointments, in addition to daytime
weekday appointments.
- Be located within 15 miles of the client's employer or an employee
population center.
After being selected as an Affiliate Provider, T.E.A.M. monitors
affiliate cases to ensure that our standards for high quality EAP
